Program Summary

Human performance, when it comes to driving or operating any vehicle, is important in assuring the safety of individuals. When it comes to determining impairment, there are many things to consider. This webinar will give the participant a better understanding of the test involved in determining impairment, the classes of drug that are evaluated in the test and the analysis of the biological evidence.

Blake Stutzman earned his BS in toxicology from Northeast Louisiana University. Blake has been in the forensics field for 25 years. He has over 19 years of working both public and private labs where he gained the knowledge and foundations of his career working in the narcotics and toxicology division. During this time, he also served as a qualified expert witness and presented scientific data and results to judges and jurors. In addition, he has also presented facts in depositions for civil cases. He has also acted as a guest speaker at DRE training for law enforcement officers as a Forensic Specialist, and an adjunct professor teaching a toxicology course at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge for their forensic science program.
