From Disability Benefits to Workforce Participation

Returning to work after receiving disability benefits presents complex legal, financial, and procedural challenges. This program explores how attorneys can help clients navigate employment pathways while protecting benefits eligibility. Panel stakeholders, including Employment Networks, Vocational Rehabilitation, WIPA, workforce agencies, and PABSS, will discuss coordinated support systems. Attorneys will learn how these programs interact with Social Security rules and work incentives. The session equips advocates to support clients pursuing economic independence through employment.
